Fixing Method:
How will you attach your lens/reflector?

1, Some optics come supplied with an adhesive tape backing ready to be stuck down.

2, Other optics will simply twist or snap onto an LED holder.

3, Some may need attaching with screws or specific clips from the manufacturer.

Alternatively a glue is used to attach the optic. Please note that certain glues are not compatible,

check the manufacturer data for more information.

Do I lose brightness when using optics?

Optical efficiency is determined by measuring the ratio of light collected after the optic and dividing by

the total amount of light without an optic directly at the LED source.

The simple answer is yes. Carclo optics uses a technology called total internal reflection (TIR), so there

is light lose during the collimation process.
